INTRODUCTION

The Android ™ 5.0 Lollipop is one of the most significant in the recent history of the Android system. It improves your experience in various areas, including visual style, the way you interact with your device.
After installing the software update, you'll notice some changes, such as:
New designSoon you will see a totally new and colorful design on
 your device, from animations to new applications and
 themes, colors and system widgets.
Notifications and priorities
To alert you to the most relevant information, the format 
and the behavior of notifications evolved:
Notifications appear on the lock screen and are classified   intelligently by type and by whom sent.
Double-tap to open a notification, swipe left or right to delete any or all of the notifications in the bottom of the list.
You can set the priority and the privacy of notifications for each application.
The very high priority notifications appear briefly on other applications so you can take the necessary actions.
By ignoring a notification on a device it will also be discarded in its other Android devices, is connected to the Internet.
You can even customize the behavior of notifications 
with the new Sleep and environment Screen settings (see below).
New settings interrupts and sleepYou can customize the behavior of interruptions, allowing 
all types of notification, no or only priority. You can customize
 what is considered a major interruption (reminders, events, links, messages) and even adapt them to display only specific contacts.
 The definition of inactivity will only priority interruptions during the 
times and days that you specify. For example: allow only defined interrupts for the weekend.
Recent applications (multitasking)The overview (known as Recent) was reformulated and
 include different applications and activities within these
 applications. For example, each tab in Chrome will be displayed
 next to the latest applications. The Gmail inbox and an email
 draft will be displayed as separate cards. This allows you to 
switch easily between tasks.
Screen environment While the phone screen is off, the screen can display 
notifications environment without turning on the main screen.
 The main display is activated when you receive a notification. 
You will see notifications similar to those displayed on the lock screen. This feature can be enabled in the Screen settings, 
increasing the consumption of the device battery.
Motorola AssistThe Motorola Assist integrates the new Sleep settings to
 control when you do not want to be bothered.The Motorola
 Assist also now uses the new Interruptions settings so you
 can customize the exceptions, such as allowing only favorite
 people in your contact list.
Flashlight     Lollipop includes a new flashlight option as part of the Quick
 Sets (sliding two fingers down from the status bar).
Share your device Now you can define multiple user accounts on your phone. 
The Guest mode is enabled by default. You can grant privileges
 to call and text message to other users or restrict the settings 
to your preference.The personalized experiences Moto (Moto 
Assist, Motorola Connect) are available only to the account owner. Compatibility with Dual SIM available for owner and guests.   Automatic SIM selection, which helps you choose the
 most appropriate SIM, will be available only to the owner. 
(Applicable only for model with Dual SIM) The Camera Applications, Gallery and FM Radio Motorola are compatible with multiple
 user accounts.





Application of fixation and screen The screen setting allows you to keep an application or specific
 screen for viewing. For example, you can 'fix' a game and 
your child will not be able to navigate anywhere else on your
 phone.
Battery     The Battery settings panel now displays an estimated projection
 of remaining battery and charging time.You can also activate
 a new battery saving mode reduces the performance of the
 phone and most of the data in the background operations
 to prolong battery life.
Smart ConnectionsWith Android Lollipop, the phone can not connect to a Wi-Fi
 access point unless there is an internet connection checked.
 This feature enhances the automatic connections Wi-Fi and
 cellular network, avoiding interruption of connections for video and 
voice-over-IP (VoIP) to switch networks.
Performance     Now your phone uses the Android Runtime to improve

The Android Lollipop adds native support to enable trusted 
devices maintain their unlocked phone (like Moto 360, Bluetoot
h car kit, headphones etc.). Smart Lock replaces the 
functionality of trusted devices for your Motorola phone.
 Note that you must re-add the trusted devices after the 
transition to Lollipop in the Security settings menu on Smart Lock.

        
INSTRUCTIONS
For the installation to complete without problems, we recommend that the
 procedure is done when the battery of your phone is with at least 50% 
charged and that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
If you received a notification message for this update:
  1. Open the notification and select "Yes" to download the new version.
  2. After completing the download of the software, select "Install now".
  3. When the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart.
  4. Now your phone is updated with the new software version.
If you have not received a notification message for this update, follow the 
steps below to check if a new software version is available and update your
 phone manually:
  1. Select the Setup icon in the Applications menu.
  2. Tap "About phone".
  3. Select "System Updates".
  4. If you see a notification that there is a new version available, press the "Yes" option. After completing the download of the software, tap "Install now".
  5. When the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart.
  6. Now your phone is updated with the new software.
