INTRODUCTION
We are pleased to announce a new software update for the Moto G Motorola. This update brings the Android ™ 5.0 Lollipop to your phone along with other improvements.
NOTE : You can not use an earlier version of software after installing this update. IMPROVEMENTS
The Android ™ 5.0 Lollipop is one of the most significant in the recent history of the Android system. It improves your experience in various areas, including visual style, the way you interact with your device.
After installing the software update, you'll notice some changes, such as:
New design | Soon you will see a totally new and colorful design on your device, from animations to new applications and themes, colors and system widgets. |
Notifications and priorities |
To alert you to the most relevant information, the format
Notifications appear on the lock screen and are classified intelligently by type and by whom sent.and the behavior of notifications evolved: Double-tap to open a notification, swipe left or right to delete any or all of the notifications in the bottom of the list. You can set the priority and the privacy of notifications for each application. The very high priority notifications appear briefly on other applications so you can take the necessary actions. You can even customize the behavior of notifications with the new Sleep and environment Screen settings (see below). |

- Open the notification and select "Yes" to download the new version.
- After completing the download of the software, select "Install now".
- When the software is installed, the phone will automatically restart.

steps below to check if a new software version is available and update your
phone manually:
