Amazon used to have a policy of refunding the difference if you bought from them and the price from them dropped within 30 days of buying it. You had to notice and request the refund for the difference, but it was their policy to do this until a year or two ago when they discontinued this policy.
When they discontinued this policy they made the change very quietly and now their policy is NOT to refund the difference if their price drops within 30 days. I just had this happen within the last week or two and they had a 50% price drop on an item. I was pretty ticked off since I never noticed when they changed their policy from what it used to be.
You might get lucky and get a sympathetic supervisor or someone who will give you a one-time adjustment on the price, but you can't expect it to happen since it is actually against their policy. Now it's "what you pay is what you get." Buyer beware.
Your other option is to ship it back to Amazon within 30 days and buy the product again. I hear of people who have done this because Amazon is better about taking returns than about price difference adjustments. Though this is a pretty annoying hassle.
Also according to a news story on NPR, Amazon and many other online merchants are beginning to do differential pricing based on things like what browser you use and other facts they can gather about you. (for instance Chrome might be considered more cutting edge and they figure you're more savvy so they give you better prices).

Reddit user poorsoi has uncovered.
She asked a simple question: Could she get a refund on a wine rack that dropped about $8 after she purchased it?
The answer? Sure, we'll refund you the price difference of an item, as long as the price drop occurred within seven days of the delivery date. I will now purchase dog food -- an item with a fluctuating price that I buy regularly -- with more confidence.
