Ever thought of a dual screen Smartphone? Yotaphone, World’s first android dual screen Smartphone is launched with a 4.3 inch LCD screen in its front and a similar sized black and white e-ink display in its rear. Even though this great innovation got birth on last year, it was presented in the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in January of this year and was awarded by C-NET as the best of CES 2013 for its revolutionary design. It is expected to launch globally before this Christmas season. Yotaphone’s both displays are scratch resistant and its colour display holds a 1280*720 pixels whereas , its rear position which illuminate slightly darker have a display resolution of 640*360 pixels. Another attractive feature of this phone is that, both sides are covered with corning’s 3D gorilla glass so that the best viewing experience will be available for the user.
The prime concept of this phone to produce dual display is to use each displays for different purposes. Moreover, the rear side which is an energy saving display can be utilized even when the battery drains off. The phone comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 operating system and it consists of 1.7GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM and non-expandable internal storage of 32GB. Surprisingly, the battery is 1800mAh battery which last up to 12 hours of battery life while using the LCD screen.
