Champion Computers, in partnership with BSNL, has launched a new phablet, the BSNL-Champion 
Trendy 531 for Rs. 13,999. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-based BSNL-Champion Trendy 531 comes with a free BSNL 3G data plan of 500MB per month for a year.

BSNL-Champion Trendy 531 features a 5.3-inch display with unspecified resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The BSNL-Champion Trendy 531 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, with expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card. There is a 3200mAh battery backing the device, however the company has not detailed the talktime and standby time. Connectivity options on the phablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.
