Struggling smartphone maker BlackBerry on Wednesday unveiled its latest smartphone offering, the Z30 – a device which sports a 5-inch AMOLED display.
The company calls the phone its “biggest, fasted and most advanced” release.
The Z30 features the BlackBerry Priority Hub, new antenna technology (better connection in low signal areas), battery life that lasts up to 25 hours and more.
“The new BlackBerry Z30 smartphone builds on the solid foundation and engaging user experience of the BlackBerry 10 platform with features like the powerful BlackBerry Hub, its exceptional touchscreen keyboard and industry leading browser,” commented BlackBerry’s Carlo Chiarello in a press release.
The Z30 will first launch next week in the U.K. and Middle East. Pricing for the device, however, has yet to be detailed.
In the recent past, BlackBerry has faced a decline in market share with rumors running rampant that it’s looking to be sold after announcing it was exploring “strategic options,” according to a New York Times report.
